Please join us for a membership planning meeting for the Central Virginia Region of the Jane Austen Society of North America on Saturday, March 4 at 10 am.
The goal of this meeting is to plan future programming and to establish volunteer leadership for the region. We are hoping to engage as many of our members as possible in our plans.
If you are interested in taking a role by planning an event, by assisting in member recruitment, or are simply interested in our group, please join us for this one hour meeting!
The meeting will be held in the meeting room of the North Park branch of the Henrico County Public Library System. The library is located at 8508 Franconia Road in Western Henrico, just half a mile from Interstate 95. Here is the link to the branch page: http://www.henricolibrary.org/locations/northpark.
We hope to see you there!
Please join us for a free screening of Pride & Prejudice (2005) in anticipation of the October premiere of Death Comes to Pemberley on PBS’s Masterpiece.
This 2005 cinematic version of Pride & Prejudice features Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen, and runs two hours and nine minutes. Popcorn is included!
Where: Auditorium of the Main Richmond Public Library, 101 E. Franklin Street
When: Wednesday, September 24, 2014
Time: 6:00 pm
While the movie and popcorn are free, we still want you to bring your checkbooks! Anyone paying for a new or renewed JASNA membership that night will be entered into a drawing for fun prizes, including gift items from the Community Ideas Stations, WGBH/Boston, and the Library of Virginia shop.
